4.5 million years ago, God created the world in 7 days. On the final day he exploded into 22 pieces which were then scattered around the earth and became the Consonants. Long after the Old Testament days, in early 18th century Bohemia, a two headed rabbitwas born to a family of Jewish farmers. Believed to be a sign of God (resembling the Hebrew letter Aleph), the family, otherwise known as the Hweizdas, sealed the rabbit away in a naos to be passed down to future generations. Aleph, one of the original 22 pieces of God, took interest in the Hweizdas due to their understanding of the magic of Hebrew, and decided to entertain them by giving the family a real live consonant baby. Lawley, who was born to Aleph in 1979, was placed carefully in the current rabbit pen of the Hweizda bloodline. Despite his malfunctioning human disguise, Lawley was taken in by a woman named Rayna and her mother, Lá'da. Lawley was watched every single day from the tree tops by Aleph, who was observing how the Hweizdas reacted. However, what Aleph didn't notice was that Rayna had secretly received American citizenship for her and Lawley so that they could escape Lá'da and her insufferable arguments. One day, Lawley and his adoptive mother were gone, but since it was done secretly, both Lá'da AND Aleph had no idea where they went. Thus begins Aleph's hunt for Lawley, and Lawley's new life in America as a therapist...
