SHIN THE TOOTH

Shin is the twenty-first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and means both “fire” and “tooth”. They live in Channel 21 which is between Mercury and the Earth. Shin are swift and quick, much like an actual flame, and make up 5.1% of the consonant population. They are able to pull out any of their teeth and turn it into something by focusing very hard on it- that is their mind-to-matter magic. Don’t worry though, their teeth grow back unconditionally and quickly, much like a shark. They can also “write” in fire, but it is much more interesting to take a tooth out and turn it into a piece of candy or something, especially to young consonants. The hat they wear gets passed around though on their heads depending on what accent mark the letter Shin has (שׁ,שׂ).
